Applications open from April 2008

The Australian Export Awards is truly a national event, made possible through the co-operation and agreement between the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade), the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and the various State and Territory Governments.

Using agreed guidelines, the 2008 Export Awards will be initially conducted as State/Territory Export Awards and managed independently by the relevant State/Territory Government Departments or Industry bodies.

Winners will be announced in various categories for each of the State and Territory Awards in October 2008, with the winners progressing as national finalists to the 2008 Australian Export Awards national judging.

Applications for the State and Territory Export Awards programs are now open.

Announcement of Winners of the 2008 Australian Export Awards

Judging for the national Australian Export Awards takes place in late 2008. The winners of the respective categories in this year's Awards will be announced at a National Awards Presentation on Friday 5 December 2008 in Melbourne. The Prime Minister of Australia, the Hon. Kevin Rudd MP, will be Guest of Honour at the dinner.

The final decision on the national category winners and the Prime Minister's Australian Exporter of the Year Award is made by the Prime Minister based on the recommendations of the judges.
