Message from the ACT Chief Minister

The ACT Chief Minister's Export Awards identify and celebrate innovators among our exporting, businesses, and highlight their success in taking the ACT to the world.

The ACT has a dynamic and successful exporting community, and these prestigious Awards have identified some outstanding ACT role models over the years.

Many of the names of category winners would be well known to you - names such as Aspen Medical, the Centre for Customs & Excise Studies, CEA Technologies, Inland Trading and of course the 2009 ACT Exporter of the Year, Sentinel.

But each year, refreshingly new names and businesses emerge as category winners – Lucy Media, Windlab Systems, CIT Solutions and Dyesol Limited.

Exports are enormously important to all of us - they drive the creation of wealth, they advance innovation through the exchange of ideas, they help create jobs and they integrate Canberra into the global trade dynamic that will continue to shape our future.

These Awards are open to all ACT and region exporters, and I strongly encourage you to enter, to use the process as an opportunity to benchmark your business against your peers, and to capitalise on the credible and valuable profile the Awards offer to entrants.
