Winners of the 2009 ACT Chief Minister's Export Awards Announced

The ACT Chief Minister's Export Awards are the Territory's most prestigious business awards. They acknowledge the innovation, hard work and success of businesses, large and small, in reaching new markets. The Awards recognise the important contribution that Australian Capital Territory businesses make to the local economy through job creation and increased prosperity in the community.

Business and Industry Development, as part of the Chief Minister’s Department are responsible for managing these Awards, strongly encourages you to consider nominating for these prestigious awards.

Having won in the ACT Chief Minister's Export Awards, these companies automatically progressed as national finalists to the 47th Australian Export Awards.

Winners of the ACT Chief Minister's Export Awards were announced on Tuesday, 22 September 2009 at a gala reception with over 250 attendees.  In the 2008/09 financial year, the 8 companies awarded, generated export earnings worth over $52m and employed more than 585 Australians.

National Winners from the ACT include the Centre for Customs and Excise Studies who won the 2008 Education and Training Award.
