Case Study - Health Projects International (NSW)

HPI-Banner

Winner, Emerging Exporter Award

Health Projects International (HPI) works with health service providers to plan, design and equip hospitals and health facilities around the world.

HPI specialises in all aspects of health planning, from service forecasting, demand analysis and feasibility studies, health facility briefing and architectural design.

Starting up in 1994, HPI developed the unique suite of web-based health planning software known as the HFBS. HPI has also created Health Facility Guidelines for five countries.

In 2010–11, HPI opened branches in India, Malaysia and Hong Kong. They now have five projects in UAE, Bahrain and Oman; two in India, five in Hong Kong and three in Malaysia, with another four under construction, including the prestigious $2 billion University of Malaya Health Metropolis.

HPI’s export earnings now account for around 70 per cent of the company’s revenue, gained either directly or through their international branch network, TAHPI Pty Ltd.

The Export Awards judges recognised that HPI has entered into tough markets and achieved success by targeting large scale international health projects.
