2011 Prime Minister's Australian Exporter of the Year Announced

Prime Minister Julia Gillard has named engineering firm Sedgman Limited as the 2011 Australian Exporter of the Year, praising its commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Sedgman designs, builds and operates coal and metal processing facilities in Asia, the Americas and Africa, as well as Australia.

Austrade launches its first iPad app

Australia Unlimited iPad app

Austrade has launched its first iPad app, the Australia Unlimited magazine, which promotes the nation's achievements in science, culture and commerce.

“This iPad app is leading the way in the Government’s adoption of digital technology, and by embracing tablet technology we are able to include multimedia elements to help bring the story of contemporary Australia to life,” said Theresa Fairman, Austrade’s Group Manager, Brand Australia.
